Mesmer Image 21 Nunchaku is a modified, independently calibrated quantization of the Qwen Image 2.1 transformer. The two models use Nunchaku signed INT4 or native NVFP4 weights and activations, respectively with BF16 rank128 residual branches and BF16 boundary layers. These modifications are by MesmerTech, September 2026, and are not an official Qwen or Nunchaku release.

The consolidated INT4 file preserves every tensor value from the previously sharded INT4 checkpoint. The separate NVFP4 file was freshly calibrated from the original BF16 transformer for RTX5090. Configuration and the runtime manifest are embedded in the model file. This repository revision contains transformer weights only; the text encoder, VAE, processor, scheduler, runtime code, and reproduction artifacts are not included in this revision.

The model and derivatives are for non-commercial research and evaluation under the accompanying LICENSE. Commercial use requires a separate license from Qwen.
