+## User intent
+
+The user questioned the current bridge approach after seeing combined character
+sampling. They asked to publish the current work, stop training, clear the
+conversation context, and investigate an approach that does not leave latent
+space. **Do not resume the archived decoder/encoder-teacher training or data
+producer. No successor training job has been launched.**
+
+Start with this short file and `AGENTS.md`; the long historical handoff is optional
+reference, not the starting plan. Design the new experiment from the user's
+latent-only constraint. In particular, do not silently reuse decode→encode
+targets or pixel losses. Define how aligned targets or another justified
+objective can be obtained. Independently generated same-prompt images are not
+automatically aligned latent targets. Keep held-out quality evaluation separate
+from target preparation and optimization; clarify its permitted decoding scope
+if necessary.

+# Nova/Qwen publication and requested shutdown

+The user requested publication of the current approach, then stopping training
+and preparing a fresh context to investigate latent-only target preparation
+and training. The learned crossing was already latent-to-latent; the archived
+supervision used decoded/re-encoded teacher targets. The new objective remains
+an open research task, not a launched or validated implementation.

+with SIGTERM. Both trainers saved fresh complete recovery states and exited:

+The decoder/encoder data producer was then stopped. Its last atomic manifest
+preserves **1,854 new cases / 2,110 total training prompts**, short of the 4,096
+planned. The dataset is incomplete and is not presented as a finished 16× run.
+No final test or fixed-cloud qualification occurred. No automatic restart is
+queued. Unrelated GPU processes were left running.
+
+Recovery states contain model, EMA, both optimizers, critic, calibration,
+particles, RNG, and consumed dataset snapshot metadata. Supervisors record
+`failed` because the trainer intentionally raises after saving on interruption;
+`artifacts/releases/nova-qwen21-20260921/stop-record.json` records and verifies
+the user-requested shutdown. This is not a convergence or completion claim.

+The public gallery uses no compute hardware. Both public repositories have
+explicit manifests and checksums. Publication receipts and live-browser/image
