Has anyone used a teacher–student approach to distill the 397B model into a 35B MoE model? Waiting for the 31b version
I would like to see any model beats the Qwen3.6-27B programming with the comparable size!

i tried many but did not find anything better yet. I am hoping to see the 31b version gives it a fight
Gemma 4 31B is a wildly good model theoretically. the issue is tool use. If there is a Ornith 31B model based on a fine tune of Gemma 4 31B with solid agentic capability, it would be one of the strongest local models currently, potentially even beating 3.6 27B.
I also was wondering where 31B was... I see it mentioned but don't see it on HF 😞
Anyone find it?
