If you want to verify the restore script works:

Install Firm via Homebrew

brew tap 42futures/firm
brew install firm

Verify Firm is installed

firm --version

Now continue the restore script (it will skip already-installed components)

bash /tmp/restore.sh

2. Fresh Installation Steps

If doing a completely fresh install on this system:

# Clean up existing Hermes (optional - only if you want a full reset)
# WARNING: This will delete your current setup

# Run the restoration script
cd ~

3. Verify Restoration

# Check config files

# Check skills
ls ~/.hermes/skills | wc -l

# Test Firm workspace
cd /home/user/app/aux
firm build

# Check GitHub connection

**4. Re-authenticate Services** (if needed)

Some credentials may need re-authentication:
- Google OAuth tokens
- GitHub CLI authentication
