Laya-MLX informed the native Apple Silicon implementation and numerical-parity
verification approach. Qev does not use Laya's ModernBERT checkpoint.

The full frozen foundation is Qwen/Qwen3.5-0.8B, revision
2fc06364715b967f1860aea9cf38778875588b17. Its original authors retain ownership
and its upstream license applies to the base weights. Qev adapters and pointer
weights are separate; native generation disables the decision adapters.

Jev and TypeSafe are third-party names. Qev offers compatible typed decision
interfaces, not an official Jev model, reconstruction of private Jev weights,
or a claim of matching Jev performance.

Public training records are derived from jaredpalmer/kev-suites revision
a3318ddc1f630c5673232efacd8123a84de3f480, public-pool-v4. Underlying datasets
have DIFFERENT licenses, including attribution/share-alike, other, and
unspecified terms. Source revisions, license declarations, checksums, and
transformations are recorded in data/v1/manifest.json. The software's Apache
license does not replace any source-data license. No external Jev labels were
used. Programmatic English and Chinese rules are generated by qev/data.py.

MLX, mlx-vlm, mlx-lm, Transformers, PEFT, PyTorch and other dependencies retain
their own licenses and are not relicensed by this project.
